Microsoft Windows is supported by both DW Spectrum® Server and DW Spectrum® Client. **NOTE: This article applies to DW Spectrum® IPVMS v4.2 and DW Spectrum® Mobile v20.4 and does not apply to prior versions of DW Spectrum® IPVMS as they are now outdated. This article will list the supported operating systems and their estimated end-of-support (EoS) dates. For example, a Windows instance of the DW Spectrum® Client software can work and communicate with an Ubuntu instance of the DW Spectrum® Server software. The advantage of cross-platform functionality is that computers that are using different operating systems can work with other computers that are using a different OS.
